A weekly e-newsletter for the Youth at Menorah is now being issued
RSY-Netzer will be holding the 'Wild 'n' Wacky' Netzer Venture Shabbaton for 8-15 year olds at Sinai Synagogue in Leeds. The group will be split into two groups based on age to allow this weekend to be as fun as possible for all ages and ensuring it will be a supportive and welcoming environment. It is great for young people who have not attended an RSY-Netzer event before.

This new initiative for Menorah is designed to be a truly action packed day filled with a broad range of exciting activities. Participants will learn new skills which may include first aid, self defence, team work and communications. There will be a wide range of sports, arts and crafts, cooking, dance, games and helping the community.
Hike through the beautiful Negev desert, sleep under the stars, grapple with the Galilee, see the sun rise ove Masada, discover the secrets of Jerusalem, float in the Dead Sea - a unique and incredible atmosphere.

A chance for Jewish children from across the country to live for 2 weeks in a Reform Jewish environment. Participants will have many different opportunities to find out what it is about being Jewish that they find most exciting. They will experience prayer in a new and creative way, learn about aspects of Jewish culture and Israel that they heve never thought about before, explore their identity without being judged and make friends and have fun in a Jewish environment unlike any they have ever known. All this while being part of an active, friendly and supportive RSY-Netzer community.

Young people are Menorah's future and as such are encouraged to participate in every aspect of Menorah, from social activities to taking part in synagogue services.
